As far as equipment goes, I've found that the NV line from Aldila has been a very good shaft, the Impex woods and Irons have been a surprisingly good head for both the good and high handicappers and the Acer Velociteque has been a very good budget shaft for all those that I have fitted with them. The Synchron heads are also very good heads, especially the 15-5 stainless heads.
